FIGURATIVE FINE ART
This project began as a conduit for experimenting with new lighting ideas, post-processing styles, and workflow. I began by soliciting a couple of my local models and the results were better than expected. After careful thought, the “Bodyscapes” project was born. My concept from the beginning was simple, create a coffee-table book which focused on the sensuality of light and the human form. No emphasis would be placed on the model as such, no faces, no credit for a specific photo, simply a credits page with a listing of project participants. The original project has evolved and now includes faces, but has remained true to the original concept... focused on the sensuality of light and the human form.
